'0% Complete' after 7 hours of downloading...

XP Home, dialup.

I realize I'm on dialup, but there should at least be SOME progress in 7
hours.

I'm hoping it's just stupid and not telling me it's downloading for some
reason, when in actuality it is.

I realize a lot of people are bitching - but come on. We pay good money to
have Windows XP, etc. - we deserve better.

MS restricts number of computer what can access to download servers. If You
have dialup order CD from MS - free including delivery

Or ask from Staples. I have information that some places they have SP2 CDs.

I don't want a CD. If they started downloading on their own, they should've
finished it on their own.

Remember that sp2 is very large. On my machine it was
98.9 mb. Depening on your dial speed, it will take a
really long time.

I appreciate your post, but any computer in the world should be able to
download a 100mb file (on average) in 25 hours.
