0x00872EFD Coincidence?

Anybody else notice that our inability to get updates started after Microsoft
put an automatic update to its program out on its update site? I've tried
all the fixes, with no success. Did Bill Gates' munchkins toss a line of bad
code at us?

No. Windows Updates works just fine.
