0x1011 error

I am trying to downalod and update the .NET framework 2.0 x86. But it keeps
failing to installed

I'm having the same problem. I have uninstalled the Beta version, rebooted
and redownloaded the update and it still fails to install.

Go to the Microsoft Download Center and search for the 'Microsoft .NET
Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)'. Download and execute
it. You will probably learn that one or more packages have to get uninstalled
before you can proceed.
Everything worked fine for me.

to download the exe, it'll tell you what needs to be uninstalled for
the update to work. Good luck!

Had to uninstall Win FX as well in my case since the Net Frame 2.0 Beta was
supporting Win FX Beta.
