I can't find Windows Defender to delete in the Uninstall program . I've tryed
going to "Programs" in "Computer" it won't let me delete anything. When I
download Defender it said it was already installed. What To Do What To Do !!!!

If Windows Defender says it's already installed, you might try the Windows
Installer CleanUp Utility:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/

If that doesn't work, then you might have some other MS AV like Forefront
running and it the defender install can't tell the difference.

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista x64 SP2) when
posting to this newsgroup.

Are you running Vista and is a McAfee application installed?...

Windows Defender error when restarting computers with VirusScan 2009

Hello LJM,

McAfee is not compatible with Windows Defender.

There is a very long conversation about it here:
