Same as everyone else. As soon as I select Express or Custom I get the error
message: "Website has encountered a problem...

I ran BelArc and it advises that everything is up to date as of 8/9/05... so
something happened between then and now that is causing us the problem.

Did everything in KB 836928... except the second part "Remove the Windows
Update Setup Folder"... as there is no such folder on my system?????

(I have "view" set to show all hidden files and folders, and "search" set
the same way) - but it does not show up.

Outlook had one small update to SP2... downloaded that, but no change.

When using the Windows Update website you may find that the service
FAILS to update your computer and returns a "General Error" message: 0x800A138F

Windows XP stops responding when you download updates from Windows Update:
You receive the following error message: Initialization error 0x8007007e

I downloaded the latest xml parser from the Microsoft xml downloads page and
that cured the problem
