HI! Could someone please tell me what this error means? When I go to
install microsoft windows updates, it automatically fails. I have Windows
professional XP home edition.

I spoke too soon - correcting the registry entries seems to work for an
upgrade to SP1, maybe SP2, but not SP3? There is probably another registry
key that is missing that is not in the MS 6 MicroSoft solution for the error
code.
