0x800706BE NET service...

i keep getting this error while .....

"Installing Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework
3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86 (update 1 of 1)... "

it doesn't update it, and says update failuer and error code 0x800706BE

ecause of that the new msn won't work on my computer

arrghhh

help pleaseee!!!!

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup.

Have any other updates failed to install recently?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this machine
(e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)?
