I had problems downloading the SP2 since MS changed their website. (Seems
that MS is making Windows harder to use rather than easier. They should take
courses at Apple). Anyways, all I had to do was;
1. Open the Norton Internet Security Application
2. Click on "Norton Internet Security" button located on the left side
3. Click on "Personal Firewall" located on center
4. Click on "Configure" button on bottom right side
5. When dialog box appears, click on "Program Control" tab
6. Scroll down and find and click on "Microsoft Generic Host Process for
Win32 services"
7. Then click on "Modify" buttom at button of scroll box.
8. When dialog box appears, click and choose "Permit" button
9. Close all boxes and close Norton.
10. Reboot your computer.

Hope this helps, and lets hope that MS makes better User Friendly apps.

I am having problems with Windows Update since V5 as
well. The program you mention above already is permitted
however. I did notice multiple entries for Windows Update
and Automatic Windows Update in the program list. Should
all of these be in here? Thanks
