0x80072EFD Success!

After trying absolutely everything mentioned in all the previous posts, I
uninstalled Intel's Anypoint wireless software which I use to connect with
three other computers. Here is a link to the Anypoint software:

It worked. Immediately upon rebooting, the update page worked flawlessly. I
haven't tried to reinstall Anypoint yet....

I reinstalled Anypoint and it worked correctly straight away by unblocking
the fire wall been working 3 days
