I have been encountering these errors (mostly 0x80072EE2) for like
months. I have searched the web looking for help, but none apepared t
be helpful. So finally, I decided to send out this distress call..
Please help me >__< !!

Thanks for the timely reply, but I have tried most of these fixes yet
none appeared to be working. Renaming softwaredistribution folder
changed the error from EE2 to EFD. I was unable to perform the
following, however.

a. proxycfg -d
b. net stop wuauserv
c. net start wuauserv
d. exit

The command prompt told me no such file existed... Any idea?

Hey:
Just wondering if you found anything about this error code. I too have been
having this errror code show up (since Thanksgiving 2008). I have called DELL
because my computer is still under warranty but they told me that it is a
software problem, and will only help me if I pay to have it fixed.
