0x800A138F error on firewall system

I am on a network with a hardware firewall and I am running xp pro on my
computer.

Windows update gives me the 0x800A138F error when I try to download updates.
I found a way around this problem by entering the update websites in my allow
file. But now, the allow file has been deleted and I cannot find the correct
sites to allow download of updates. Please let me know what site to allow for
download of updates.

Also I had to perform a command on my computer that allowed me to download
updates in addition to allowing the firewall to download updates. I believe I
disabled some firewall option or other. If you can tell me what that command
was for future reference, that would be great.

You receive an "Error 0x800A138F" error message when you
click a link on the Windows Update Web site

The update is not completed successfully after you scan for updates

No, thats not the problem.

It was working fine until a couple days ago.

Please tell me the sites I should have allowed on my firewall.

Was the windows update recently updated to v5 from v4?

I see this in the logfile, may mean something to you:
