0x800b0109 when verifying trust

During Windows update when trying to download and install Update for
Intelligent Message Filter for Exchange Server 2003: 2008.08.01 (KB907747)
(and previous version as well) recieving error in log:

More details:

We're running Win2k sp4 and have two servers running Exchange 2003 and I got
the following message on both systems.

When I have downloaded file manually, unzip and run it, I got Error Msg
pop-up.
" Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the
Cryptograthic service is running on this computer"

From reading of 822798 I understood that there is no such service on win2k

You can also use Method 4: Reregister DLL files that are associated with
Cryptographic Services on KB822798 but skip sccbase.dll in step 2 and
step 5.

The issue may also be caused by the installed antivirus/security
software scanning the locked Edb.log
