0x800F0100 after install KB914389

I have tried to install KB914839. First automaticaly, later manual. The
install failed with code 0x800F0100.
Third time first i deleted the content of C:\windows\SoftwareDistribution.
That wasn't the soulution. Do you know the solution?

Haantje,

Check the KB914839.log that is located in the WINDOWS directory (folder)
for an error message. Start at the bottom of the log and work your way
back up or, post the LAST section of the log that covers the last
attempted failed install. It will start with -

[KB914389.log]
2.263:
================================================== ==============================
2.263: 2006/0x/xx 14:30:19.738 (local)

There will be an entry for each failed install. Just post the LAST
failed entry section, please.

Having the same problem with kb943055. Went to windows & looked @ all the
entries but was unable to find kb934055. What am i missing? TIA

I am having same problem with kb934055 & finally did a search for that in

Perhaps nothing important. What version of oleaut32.dll do you have?


BTW your symptoms are sufficiently different from the OP that you should have
started your own thread with a more pertinent Subject line.
