0x80200010 Updates Failure

I'm running Panda Platinum 2005. I've tried to Hotfix that is supposed to
enable the automatic updates to work properly but my version of Panda is
apparently newer than the hotfix fix can work with.
Has anyone come across this problem and how did you fix it?

There is a patch in Panda site which can fix most of the trouble. The file
name is hft50504s8.exe.
I found - by chance- the path to the right page of Panda site by performing
a search in yahoo on 0x80246001, which sent me to a groupnews in which the
question had been raised. Unfortunately, I did not note this path.
There is only one update which resisted to the patch, because of an error
0x80246001, that I have not yet managed to fix....
