0x80244001 error nothing working

I've tried everything. I reinstalled the XML parser, nothing happened. I
reregistered MSXML3.dll, nothing happened. I tried running
%windir%\system32\regsvr32.exe %windir%\system32\MSXML3.dll, still nothing.
I rebooted, nothing. Please help.

I too have this error. WTF!!?? Windows Update worked fine before the new
version. Any help from Microsoft is appreciated.

0x80244001 error may be caused by the MSXM3.dll missing or not properly
registered. I'll include the instructions to register the MSXML3.dll below.

Register MSXML3.dll
1. Click Start.
2. Choose Run.
3. In the Run box, type regsvr32 MSXML3.dll.
4. Click OK.
