0x802442c error in windows 2000 server

hi, we in our corp have 2 servers with win2k srvr. 1 is the
domain/aplications server and the other 1 is the proxy/mail server.

domain server get to internet by the proxy server with no restrictions,
as admin, and when i try to use que windows update tool it doesn't
mather if i choose any of the two options, it takes a lot of time and
finally shows the message with that error 0x802442C, i tryed the
solution in windows support web, and in many forums, that is the same,
but it doesn't fix it.

Any help would be great!!
