Ok... Let me put it this way... NOTHING WORKS!!!!!

I've tried the three ways:

1 - Clean the cache, temp internet files, cookies, history.... didn't work
2 - Rename de \Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder... didn't work
3 - do the "net wuauserv stop.. etc etc etc " int the cmd... didn't work

The only one I didn't do was the system user and the everyone group because
they exist.

WHAT CAN I DO? And it's not spyware/adaware/virus... I've got this baby
under good care...

after having the same issue and it fixed the problem. I hope this helps.
