When I try to run Windows Update I get the above message. I've tryed clearing
internet explorer files, renaming Software Distrubution folder ( with clean
boot) and nothing works. Any suggestions.

Am:
I tried all that stuff and it didn't work. Do you have any other ideas or
things I could try. I really don't want to have to reinstall windows.
