      09-29-2004
Help!! After scanning for updates and giving me the option of either an
Express or a Custom installation, Windows Update gives me this error
(0x80248015) with both options.

I am running Windows XP Home, pre-installed on a new PC.

Check to make sure the PC date and time are valid.

Non of this has helpped me. I keep getting 0x80248015. What do I do?

Thanks, that was it. I am loading a new computer out of the box, doing
updates. After reading this thread I looked and the clock was set to year
9999. Boy do I feel old.
