Did you play with NTFS rights ? Have you tried with a fresh
admin account ? Did you use a proxy or any filtering method
to access the web ? Sometimes, disabling AV (nav) isn't
enough, try to uninstall.
0x80070005 : ACCES DENIED - The authentication method
is not supported. - CoCreateInstance(IBackgroundCopyManager)
fails with E ACCESSDENIED (0x80070005) in this condition
(don't know if this apply to web authentication or acces to files/registry)
and
0x8DDD0002 : ErrorNotAdmin
Look if your account is in more than administrators group (perhaps in users group too ?)
in this case, remove your account from all groups, except administrators.
If you got an XP Pro, try this in CMD window (1line) :
secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb /areas FILESTORE
(you can add REGKEYS and SERVICES at the end too, see :
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=313222
take care if you apply others areas : check groups<>users parameters)
Hope this helps
Cheers
