0x8DDD0004 error

Running Windows XP, sent my PC back for repair and XP was reinstalled, now I
get error 0x8DDDOOO4 when I try to use Windows Update.

I think I have tried just about every fix listed and no luck.

Can anyone help? Many thanks.

To turn on automatic updating of trusted root authority certificates

1. In Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs
2. Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
3. Select the Update Root Certificates check box.
4. Click Next, and then click Finish.

Note

again – WORKED!
