All comments are always the same and not helpful.
If any new ideas, really new?

Check back later, though. I'm sure someone who remember (knows) a lot more

Good luck

Hi Engel;

Finally I found the answer, exact solution is below;

Start Run regsvr32.exe wuaueng.dll Enter

1. Click Start.
2. Choose Run.
3. In the Open box, type regedit.
4. Click OK.
5. In the Registry Editor, go to the following branch:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update
6. If the RebootRequired sub-key is present, right click on the key and then
click on the Delete option. Click Yes for confirmation.
7. Close Windows Registry, restart the computer and then access the Windows
Update site.

Most important part of it, From the regedit

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Upda teExeVolatile]
"Flags"=dword:00000003

and

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Upda teExeVolatile_01C60B4A7471BAAB]
"Flags"=dword:00000002

After changing the above keys to "0"

Everything will be fine.

WOW, thank you so much. I have not been able to get updates in 2 years
because of this stupid 0x8ddd0007 error. With me not being computer savy,
your explaination was most helpful, and now my computer is downloading 2
years worth of updates!!! Many thanks again,
Beth

I have been having this problem as well, but can you clarify... once I
downlaod the update and then it asks to restart and I restart do I then
remove the Rebootrequired and change the values? And do I restart again?
Please help this child with a descriptive walk-through lol. Thank you.
