0x8DDD0018 Windows update and Intelligent transfer service

As i try to update, i get this error (see code) that asks me to activate the
inteligent transfer service, however it is already activated.

Could comething else be the issue?

Hi Chris,

You would also receive that error if the Startup type for the Automatic
Updates service is set to Disabled or Manual instead of Automatic.

Make sure that you have automatic updates turned on.

requested page" error message when you try to install an update


BITS could be disabled or not started.

or:-
Click Start, select Run
In the Run box, type: regsvr32.exe wuaueng.dll
Click OK.

Also do the same for these two DLLs :
qmgr.dll
qmgrprxy.dll
