0xC0000005 Sql Service pack 2 KB954606

I continually get the C0000005 error message when attempting to install the
new 052 Sql Service pack2 KB954606. I'm running XP SP3. I have tried
turning DEP off, with no change noted. What is next (besides hiding the
update)?

Could you post the summary.txt under %programfiles%\Microsoft Sql
server\90\Setup Bootstrap\log?
