You can use Vista DVD to repair such registry corruption problem.
and can do manually....
Boot from Vista DVD and open CMD
Change dir to *C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack*
Now execute this command to replace backedup Registry hive to corrupted
one.
> Copy SYSTEM.OLD C:\Windows\System32\config\SYSTEM
Restart your Windows to take effect...
You may need to re-install all system drivers.
