i got an error message while trying to backup my files, i use windows vista

backup without errormessages, the giving code: 0xC0000EA

Please help asked, what does this mean, how could this happen and is indeed
my backup worthless now?

Thanks for help,

That error would indicate a problem with your mail apps message store. See
the help in that app for how you can 'compact messages.'

Worse yet, if you do not get an error message, your backup may STILL be
worthless. Before Grisoft fixed a problem with AVG antivirus, I had been
doing regular backups, and happened to look at the event log, and found that
although each backup had said it was successful, the Volume Shadow copy had
failed every single time. After Grisoft fixed the problem the problem never
appeared again. BUT each and every backup said it was successful. I don't
know about you, but I consider that even a more scary scenario!!!

Thanks,

Ok, i guess the only thing which can have gone wrong (i say i guess) is that
next time i shouldnot have my emailprogrms running while doing a backup.

That is a shame though, would be nice if my (expensive) Vista could easily
backup without troubles. No matter if i have programs going on.

Thanks for your answer, my last backup (just made it) seemed to have gone
just fine.
