When I try to get the newest updates from Windows Update I get this error.

What wrong?

Relates to an error from the Jet database engine which the WU client uses to store
information, hrDiskIO

Possible work around, from command prompt
The command prompt = Start, select Run, now type in: cmd

Now type the following:-

net stop wuauserv
cd %windir%\softwaredistribution\datastore
del datastore.edb
net start wuauserv
