What is this error?
Unable to update and unable to find in KB

This was a big help.
And YES ther's been recent power disruptions.

I had to change

rd %windir%\softwaredistribution\datastore /s /q
to
rd %windows%\softwaredistribution\datastore /s /q

Rich,

I have been getting the same error code at window updates.

When I try the solution, I get a message tha the system can't file the file
to delete.
Any suggestions?

i get the same error message and would like to try the same thing listed
below. However, how do i get to the command prompt?
