Ok today I turned the pc on as normal

The bios splash screen came up it's a DFI lanparty board btw
and it just stuck on the post screen no error messages it just hung

Well after much messing about I discovered if I leave it in this
state for about 10 minutes it comes back alive and boots into Vista
as normal and performance is as good as always

I have tried to reflash the bios but still the same thing
Anybody any ideas I did a google search but nobody
seems to have had the same fault

Sounds like it is dying, have you contacted the manufacturer?

Do you have any connected external devices turned on when you boot. If yes,
disconnect them one by one and cold boot the system after each disconnection
to see if one such device is the cause of the problem. Also, run a virus
scan and scan for malware as they can cause this type of issue as well.
