100% CPU Usage Caused By Adobe Flash Plugin

So i've been dealing with 100% CPU usage for the last 3 weeks. I'v
narrowed down the cause to the Flash plugin for ANY browser, regardles
of IE or Firefox

*Here's the deal:

Anytime Flash is loaded in the browser, the CPU shoot straight up t
100% until you close the browser. I've google'd solutions for this. Th
only one I've seen is the all FULL CONTROL for the Everyone user on tw
of the Flash drives

This does not work. So I tried something else

I reformatted and started from scratch. As soon as the Flash plugin wa
installed, BOOM, right to 100% CPU usage again. This happened on bot
Vista x64 Ultimate w/ SP2 and a clean install of Windows 7 x64 Ultimat
RTM (It's a legal copy.)

*My desktop is a P4 3.2ghz with 3GB ram on a 80GB WD 10,000rpm sat
drive. Plenty of power.

*_Now_here's_a_weird_sidenote:_* I have a company laptop with Window
XP x86 w/ SP2. Flash works fine. Both computers are on the same version
The latest as of today from Adobe.com.

Obviously the only difference besides OSes is I'm using 64-bi
Vista/Win7 on the desktop. But because there is no 64-bit flash, only 3
bit, they are using the same version

Ok, thoughts? Suggestions

*_I've_ruled_out:_
1. Virus/Spyware/Malwar
2. Other processes running (i tried when I did a clean install wit
nothing installed

Having the same issue on Win 7 x64 on my laptop, causes random browser
crashes as well, have yet to find a solution, just another piece of crap
from adobe, hopefully an update will fix it.

I'm hoping that a 64-bit version of Flash will solve the program, bu
they currently only have one for Linux. v10 is a CPU usage hog, and
can't find what part of the v10 is causing the problems. v9 is les
problems, but still the CPU usage issue

What is the point of this? There isn't going to be a solution until adobe
fixes their crap.

There is no "bump" on Usenet. And since you didn't quote any of the original
thread, no one here can help you. This is why:

You are not posting on a real forum as you think you are and you didn't
quote any of the thread to which you are replying. You are using a web
interface that leeches Usenet posts and most of the rest of us are using
real newsreaders. We don't see what you do. If you want to participate in
Usenet, the better way is to set up a newsreader. This is very easy to do
and I'll give you information about that below. If you prefer to use a
forum, then here are two excellent ones:

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it. Here
are some links to information about newsgroups:

Hoping someone found a work around (i.e. regedit, 3rd party solution,
etc.)

Obviously you can't use IE 64. Does this happen with FF, or just IE 32
