1055 process and counting... WTF?

Howdy,

I have installed Vista SP1 on Sunday... going about my business as usual
after a raft of nightmares with the upgrade...

My box (which is a monster) appeared to be running slowly tonight... so I
check to see what could be causing me so much grief...

1055 processes spawned by "pcalua.exe" a MS exe for compatability...

Any clues on:

a) how to stop it?
b) why I shouldnt?
c) was this tested?
d) who is the test manager responsible?

I am searching on that one for you...sounds very odd.

BTW, thanks for the Expression Blend links in your signature. I've been
trying to find a good book or something on how to use it and can't find a
thing until now.

Thanks for trying to get some more info for me.. I have been searching as
well and so far nothing...

On Blend... I have just finished my book.. Expression Blend Unleashed...
which is going through copy edit and will be available very shortly...
