Actually, I still have a machine running 98se and I
downloaded and installed several updates today, in reference
to this announcement from MS. It just isn't all automatic.
Many people still run 98 or some other obsolete OS because
the machine is not a good candidate for an upgrade to XP,
yet they need to use the computer. I just thought that I'd
mention it. MS does eventually get around to posting
critical updates on the 98/ME update system.
