For what it's worth, my ISP informed me there have been problems with Hotmail
recently but that they recieved a communique from Hotmail stating that as of
1:00 pm ET, it was taken care of. In fact I have the thread under yours. I
think I am ok now after doing tests, sincerely, Gary

About all you can do for that is submit a trouble report:
https://support.live.com/default.asp...=wlmaildesktop
Sometimes it helps if you delete the Hotmail account in WLM,
and then re-create it.

I believe I've found the problem that has kept Live Mail Desktop from
syncing properly. Please pass this information on to the Tech-Development
department.

WLMail has, in fact, been downloading every message (new and old)
___________________________________________
Most people will not notice the delay, unless they are on dialup. Consider
that if someone has 32Mb stored in a folder, that one folder could take
nearly four hours to download. This might cause the server to time out. Don't
believe me? send something to an empty folder (route it using filters in
Hotmail).
Anyway, I fixed the problem by hovering the mouse over an offending folder
right-clicking PROPERTIES, went to the SYNCHRONIZE tab, chose the ALL
MESSAGES radio button, clicked APPLY, chose the NEW MESSAGES radio button,
clicked APPLY, and clicked OK. I did this with each faulty folder.
Just a note: The mail notification sound, currently, is not functioning
reliably (sometimes is, sometimes isn't, sometimes delayed). I'm not griping,
I'm just thinking it might be a symptom.
Happy hunting.

All you can do is wait for MS to fix their server, and in the meantime,
read your Hotmail via the web.
