16 bit application lag

I work in a corporate environment which receives updates on a regular basis.

I have a 16 bit application that started expeiencing 30 sec lags at Window
Close. I began testing other 16 bit applications and found that they
experience 30 sec delays from 16 bit to 32 bit windows.

I believe it must be a WOW issue but I unable to get any further with the
knowledge base. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry you are encountering this issue. This does not seem, though, to be a
Windows Update issue, as the detection, recognition, download, installation, and
reboot following the installation of Windows Update does not seem to be at
issue. Please re-post this issue to the operating system newsgroups that most
closely fit the 32-bit Windows Operating system you mentioned. An example, if
it were Windows XP, would be:

microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support
