SWING MIGRATION - search this thread for it - you install a TEMP DC and
then move to a test network and build everything without having to take
down the old network.

Book is:
http://www.amazon.com/Windows%C2%AE-...9742006&sr=8-2

Migration from SBS 2k3 is covered, and a whole lot of other preparation
stuff you'll need. But there are updated migration docs as well that you've
already got a pointer to.

Hey Charlie, I also noticed on the Amazon link you included that there are
three books for $98 listed in the "frequently bought together" section. Are
the other two books listed there worhtwhile as well or can I just stick with
your book?

The other two listed are "Windows Small Business Server 2008 Unleashed" by
Eriq Oliver Neale and "Windows Small Business Server 2008 Administrators
Pocket Consultant" by Craig Zacker.

I suspect the latter book would be similiar to yours?

Thanks, Brad

Eriq's is a good book. Haven't seen Craig's but it's probably fine. However,
it's a much different book. Pocket consultant books are smaller. Tend to be
very concise. They need to fit in your pocket, after all. Not a lot of
detail or explanation.

I am still awaiting approval on my proposal to move to SBS 2008 - as soon as
I get it (which I hopefully will) than I will get your book..
