I am repeatedly prompted that updates are available for install, but the
installs fail.
Two DELL machines, a 4300 and 4600 both w/ XP home

I have tried allowing auto and manual updates with same outcome.
I have tried turning off virus and firewall controls with same outcome.

I am receiving the same error. I have attempted to fix it myself to no
avail. Any help out there?

One Toshiba S5105-501 laptop w/XP Home
