2 hr old oem vista64 says not genuine

i just spent $420.00 for 2 additional vista ultimate 64 sp1 oem disk
from microcenter for my kids. i just finished installin
vista64,drivers...etc on one of them. i brought the pc into my othe
room where my modem is to activate it & download updates. it activate
perfectly and is currently downloading the latest updates.

here's the kicker.....

there is a watermark in the bottom right corner of the desktop tha
say

Windows Vista(TM
Build 600
This copy of Windows is not genuin

???????? i'm lost for words.....

If you're referring to the MicroCenter I just googled (21 stores...), I'd be
tempted to go back to them with the product and a screen print showing the
message and ask them how they intend to correct the situation.

Definitely go back to Microcecter as Pvdg42 suggested. You may also want to
contact MS

it finally went away. it went through 2 cycles of windows updates. jus
when i though it was done 1 more popped up(malicious software remova
tool) installed
rebooted and the watermark is now gone thank god.....i was ready t
call microsof
on them...lo

the second pc installed w/o any watermark at all,weird
