2 updates repeat over and over again KB900485 KB931784

Update for Windows XP (KB900485)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB931784 )
windows xp sp2 checked the log file and it says they where successfully
installed. after the automatic update yellow shield shows up in the task bar
I click it and it starts downloading the before mentioned updates, I did a
repair and then deleted windows messenger. after the updates download and tit
says they where successfully installed and I close the automatic updates
window another yellow shield shows up and it tell me that their are updates
available for my computer and guess what kids? it's the same two updates. is
their a way to fix this once and for all? thanks dave

I'm having the same problem, but with the same updates you have here plus

KB890859 and KB920872 as well (4 total) what's going on?

I have this problem on a client's stand-alone PC.
