Ok found solution. Here it is for others to use:
#1 - Check to be sure that Date, Time and Zone are correct in Windows
#2 - Re-Register these dll's:
Start>Run
segsvr32 mssip32.dll
segsvr32 initpki.dll
segsvr32 softpub.dll
#3 - Open Internet Explorer
SelectTools and then Internet Options
Advance tab
unselect 'check for server certificate revocation'
reboot system
No need to reboot if above did not have a check mark.
Now try and do updates again.
