"Code named, "Marvel"". Sort of like, "Longhorn", or "Capricorn". I own a
"Capricorn", which was the HP development code name for the HP 85 computer.
Never sold as, "Capricorn", though (and the reason there is an "Apple"
computer, as Steve Wozniak built his "Apple I" out of parts legally acquired
from HP when he worked there as an engineer's assistant; he offered his
design to HP, as required under the program by which he got the parts, and
HP released their interest in the design, as it duplicated their "Capricorn"
product."
"Longhorn" was the development code name for the OS currently shipped by
Microsoft as, "Windows Vista".
Code names are internal development project names, and often won't be
released under the code name. Calling a commercial product, "Marvel" would
almost certainly invite the legal attention of the owners of the publisher
of that name.

And I was unable to run Windows Live Messenger on an HP Pavilion 6745C;
until I upgraded it from Windows ME to Windows XP.
As Rin Ogata (fictional character from the manga/anime story /Rideback/)
says, "The world changes."
