32 bit

have a game that requires 32 bit color. Running windows xp and only have 16
and 24 bit options to choose for desktop display. Is there a patch to
download to change desktop display to 32 bit?

No. The colour depth is totally dependant on the graphics card and it's
drivers. Some things to try:
1. If you're running at 1024x768, try changing to 800x600. If you're running
at a resolution higher than 1024x768, try changing to 1024x768 first.
2. See if the graphics card maker has any newer drivers than those you're
using.
3. Raid the piggy-bank and buy a new, better graphics card (this option
hurts!).
