32 bit winmail is launching 64 bit winmail

Hi
On 64 bit windows vista, 2 windows mail applications are available. On
is in "c:\program files\windows mail" (64 bit) and the other one is i
"c:\program files (x86)\windows mail" (32 bit). when the 32 bit window
mail application is launched it is inturn launching the 64 bit window
mail application. the task manager is showing winmail.exe an
winmail.exe*32

Any one could let me know, why the 32 bit app is launching the 64 bi
and what changes needs to be done to run only the 32 bit windows mai
application

I suspect that Microsoft does this "for compatibility" and I wouldn't mess
with it.
