3Com 56k V.90 Mini PCI Modem Update

Each time the Microsoft Update downloads "3Com 56k V.90 Mini PCI Modem
Update" I get a message that it failed.
I am using Windows 2000 Professional SP4.
Why won't it download? and how can I overcome this?
