Windows XP
Outlook 2003
Activesync 4.5 on Qtek 9000

Attempting to sync just Contacts, Calendar and Files
Files works OK.
Cannot sync Contacts or Calendar. AS looks like it is syncing - goes
through the motions in AS window on desktop - but almost nothing appears
transfers. Specifically:
Contacts - nothing appears in Outlook
Calendar - loads hundreds of blank appts for sync date and time into outlook

Have removed, downloaded and re-installed AS on desktop
Have deleted existing partnerships on both desktop and PPC

Problem persists - HELP

Hi,

Have you imported the contacts and calendar appointments into MS Outlook by
any chance from another application? This is a peculiar issue, if you don't
have any important information on the device would recommend a hard reset
and then try setting up the partnership.

Data has always been held in Outlook but on a different profile on my PC. I
am reluctant to hard reset as the device holds the most up to date data for
Contacts and Calendar.

Hi MBP,

I have the same problem but with only the contacts ! It seems to work :
connects, seems to sync but onting on the device.
I also noticed that on the device in the Options of Activesync the checkbox
for contacts is disabled !
I also tried to reinstall AS 4.5, I also reinstalled OL !!!!
deleted/re-created the profile but nothing helps.
I tried on another PC and it perfectly works ! This meens that the problem
is on my computer with AS or OL.
I am sure that mail2web is a nice solution but I would like to have my PC
working !
