I had sync working fine via USB & Bluetooth to my XV6700 under 4.2. After
applying the DST updates and upgrading to 4.5, I now get a sync error on the
PC everytime and a couple different codes on the device (80072EFD is one of
them)
I had uninstalled 4.2, upgrd'd to 4.5 deleted the partnership and mobile
device and connected via USB. My Outlook sync is to a local PST profile that
has worked for > a year. The PC will sit at "looking for changes" for 15-20
min., then error out suggesting I reconnect the device and try again. When I
reconnect the same thing.
If I leave the device connected and just select OK on the ... please
reconnect msg, my device shows contacts, then calendar etc syncing, then I
get the error. When I check to see what synced, it appears everything synced
both on the PC and device, but again it ends in the error.
The Activesync Tblshooter almost always shows nothing wrong. I'm wondering
- what's tripping the error msg?
- did it actually sync everything and just an error closing or what am I
missing?
- why the 15-20 timeout and error?
Any ideas?
