4 files in backlog for MONTHS

We have 1 replication group out of about 50 that has been displaying a 4
file backlog for about 2 months now. I've increased the staging folder to 20
GB. Stopped the shares on that server during the replication window in case
the files are .pst files held open by a user's Outlook. Deleted the
replication group (and associated DFSRPrivate folders) and recreated the
group only to have it settle down with 4 files in backlog. Searched through
the DFSR log in the Debug folder multiple times but it really does not make
too much sense. I thought I had 2 of the files narrowed down to .pst files
but they no longer show up in the DFSRlogs.

Any Ideas on tracking down which files are kept in backlog and how to get
them replicating?

TIA
DDS
