Hello,
I have been setting up alot of Windows 2003 Server (all versions) lately
and I'm getting a little tired to have to apply this ever growing number of
critical updates. Latest count is 41 updates totalling almost 40MB. One of
which has to be installed by itself. Its a very tedious process as you all
know. Anyone know of any plans to wrap all these updates into a service pack ?

Thanks,
Tony

Sorry I forgot to add this. It is only the Direct X that has to be
downloaded separately from WU the rest being a single download. I would not
install the RC2 on production machines just yet since it is a Beta.
Downloading and installing from WU at this time is not as bad.

Anyway if you would like to try the Beta Service pack I inserted the link
below.

Thank you for the feedback Peter. I totally agree about not wanting to use
beta stuff on production machines. So I'll wait for it to be released for
production. Any idea when that will be ?

You can intergrate all your current updates into your existing winnt dir off
your cd and create a new cd to use. Check up about intergrating service packs
in deployment of software.

Cheers
