If you have an OEM version of Windows Vista, then the
only way to acquire the 64-bit version is to purchase it
and perform a complete "clean install". Only "retail versions"
of Windows Vista include both a 32-bit and 64-bit installation
disc.

Hi, I just got my PC with 32 bit vista ultimate installed when I got it, I
got the backup CD, but I want 64 bit and I dont know how to get 64 bit.
Anyone know how to get my PC running with 64 bit vista? Or have any guide
that I can follow since it says that the Vista Ultimate package contains 64
bit. I have a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 3,16 Ghz and 4 gb ram.
