640x480 video and full screen?

http://get.live.com/messenger/features

8.5 features say that we can now do "live, full-screen (640x480) video.** "

I have one of the latest MS cameras - supports 640x480 - nice fast cable
connection but the largest video size I can choose ('large') is 320x250. No
amount of prodding and poking will give me 640x480

So I think maybe its for fullscreen only except I can't see how to do full
screen. I'm pretty sure many moons ago I used to double click the video but
that just shows me the contact card.

Help for messenger isn't much use when i search for 'full screen' and
general internet searching isn't helping either.

So 1. Can I do 640x480 video conversations and 2. How do i switch to full
screen

Thanks

Greetings,

This is the old pages from 8.1 and the 640x480 is apparently a typo -- see here:

Thanks Jonathan... fascinating that the reply you linked to is from June and
nobody has bothered to fix the 'new features' page.

Also how do I switch to the full screen mode (even if it is only QVGA
stretched)?

Hi,

I guess the marketing people been busy with something else

To get to full screen you have to establish a 'Video Call' (it's not available in the 'show
my webcam' separate option if you've been using that). Once it's established, choose the
small arrow in the bottom right-hand corner under the video, choose Size and then choose Full
Screen.
