Hi
i need help with this update its very frustrating.
when i start windows update it says "windows cant check for updates" and
when i try to check for updates it sometimes works but then stops and gets
the error message 8024000B.
it says in the update history that the update was cancelled.
Today i ran windows update and it said " to check for updates, you must
first install an update for windows update.Your automatic update settings
will not change."
then when i click to install the update windows update re-opens in another
window (this is normal) and gives me the error code 8024D00D.
can anyone help me?

Try downloading WUA v7.0.600.0384 from the appropriate link (x86 version,
most likely) in this blog entry:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/blog...showentry=1172

Save the download to your desktop, then double-click on the saved file to
install.

If still no joy...

Start a free Windows Update support incident request:
